Annual General Meeting & Board Elections – March 29th

Join OPIRG Guelph for a wrap-up of 2021-2022 and a look at what we’re up to these days.
Wednesday March 29th, 6:30-8:00pm, online
Anyone is welcome to attend; only members in good standing may vote
We will:
– Present our Annual Action Report
– Present our Audit
– Elect a new Board for the coming year
After the official meeting ends people are encouraged to stick around to reflect on the work we’ve been doing this year and what you’d like to see over the next few months.
And there will be door prizes, of course!
IMPORTANT Voting and Registration Details
* During the official part of the AGM we will only be admitting voting members into the Zoom meeting, however anyone can follow along on Facebook Live. Once the meeting is adjourned, the Zoom chat will open up to everyone for the discussion part of the evening.
* If you wish to vote at the AGM and in the Board elections, make sure you register before Tuesday March 28th at noon.
* If you’re interested in running for a seat on the Board of Directors, the nomination period is March 1st-22nd (5pm). Please get in touch with our Elections Organizer & Chief Returning Officer at cro@opirgguelph.org for more information.
* If you are NOT a graduate or a full-time undergraduate UofG student, you need to renew your membership before March 22nd at 6pm in order to be eligible to vote at the AGM. Please print and fill out the membership form below and return it before the deadline.
NOTE:
  • Hard copies of the form are available at the OPIRG office, open Monday-Thursday, 10am-4pm.
  • You can return the hard copy of the form, or you can email a photo or scan to mandy at organizational@opirgguelph.org.
  • If you need the form in a different format or you need to make other arrangements in order to renew your membership, reach out to mandy at organizational@opirgguelph.org.
