AGM and Board Elections

Join OPIRG Guelph for a wrap-up of 2020-2021 and a look at what we’re up to these days.
We will:
– Present our Audit and Annual Action Report
– Hear from our Board of Directors, Staff, and Action Groups
– Vote on a change to our Bylaws
– Elect a new Board for the coming year
We’ll also take some time to talk about how we can reconnect and what we’d like to see over the next few months.
And there will be door prizes, of course!
IMPORTANT Voting and Registration Details
* During the official part of the AGM we will only be admitting voting members into the Zoom meeting, however anyone can follow along on Facebook Live. Once the meeting is adjourned, the Zoom chat will open up to everyone for the discussion part of the evening.
* If you wish to vote at the AGM (including the Board elections), make sure you get your name on the voter’s list before Tuesday March 29th at noon. Email mandy at organizational@opirgguelph.org to be added to the list.
* If you’re interested in running for a seat on the Board of Directors, the nomination period is March 7th-22nd. Please get in touch with our Elections Organizer & Chief Returning Officer at cro@opirgguelph.org for more information.
* If you are NOT a graduate or a full-time undergraduate UofG student, you need to renew your membership before March 23rd at 6pm in order to be eligible to vote at the AGM. Please fill out the membership form below and return it to mandy (organizational@opirgguelph.org) before the deadline.
