This is Students Offering Welcome (S.O.W)’s first event! We will be showing the documentary Salam Neighbor by the organization Living on One. It follows the journey of two filmmakers who received permits from the UN to stay in a Syrian refugee camp in Jordan and helped share the stories of those who living there.

S.O.W. is a new OPIRG Action Group set up to support refugees coming to Guelph as well as those living in camps overseas. All welcome!The film is 1 hour and 20 minutes, and there will be time for discussion afterwards. It is a free event, however donations are accepted.
