February 3 – Fractured Land (co presented with Guelph Anti Pipeline)

* With some of the world’s largest fracking operations on his territory, a young indigenous leader and lawyer struggles to reconcile traditional teachings with the law to protect the land.

February 10 – This Changes Everything (co presented with Fossil Free Guelph)

*What if confronting the climate crisis is the best chance we’ll ever get to build a better world?

 

March 2 – Resistencia (co presented with Students for Justice in Latin America)

*When a 21st century coup d’état ousts the only president they ever believed in, these Honduran farmers take over the plantations…with no plans to ever give them back.

 

March 16 – The House I Live In

*What is the US war on drugs really for? Who is impacted and who is profiting?

March 30 – The Square

* A group of Egyptian revolutionaries battle leaders and regimes, risking their lives to build a new society of conscience.
(This film has english subtitles)
