Be a part of the OPIRG-Guelph Speed River Project and Matthew (Matthew is an experienced ornithologist bird educator) on a wander along our city’s rivers, discovering some of the bird-life that passes through on their migration, and those feathered friends that spend the winter here. We will take a look at the importance of urban wildlife habitat for breeding and migration stopover, and hear about many of the pressures facing birds today. This will be an opportunity to hear and share about ways that we can help our winged neighbours, and better provide opportunities to connect with nature in the city.
