Dear OPIRG Guelph members and friends,

In compliance with physical distancing and social solidarity measures, the OPIRG Guelph Board of Directors has postponed this year’s Board elections and Annual General Meeting until further notice.

We acknowledge that our bylaws require that we hold elections and the AGM before April 1^st. Unfortunately this will not be possible this year because a large part of our membership has already left Guelph and would be unable to vote, and holding an event at this time is not safe. We thank you for your understanding and patience while we wait to see how the COVID-19 situation unfolds.

We want to assure you that we still have a functional Board and our staff are still working despite the office being closed, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please stay safe, stay connected, and continue to advocate for those who are most at risk in our community.

OPIRG Guelph is located on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron/Chonnonton, the Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee peoples and the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit.
