OPIRG-Speed River Project Community Tree Planting! Oct 17th Saturday (9am-1pm) York Road Park

The Speed River Project team is excited to invite you to our fall Community Tree Planting event. Join us for a day of activity and snacks in the river-side forest where we will continue our dialogue on riparian systems. By planting native trees and shrubs, removing trash, and checking up on past plantings, you will be helping your community recover the benefits of a healthy river system.

Where: York Road Park (parking is behind the Ukrainian church – look for signs)

When: Saturday October 17th, 9am to 1pm

Refreshments will be served,

Rain or shine.

Tools provided (spades, buckets, etc) but we encourage you to bring your own!
