The workshop will focus on learning about some of the many edible & medicinal plants that are found during the mid-summer. Many of the common plants around us can be used for food and medicine. Time will also be spent discussing how these plants can be used for survival and wilderness living skills.
We will focus on learning about many of the native and non-native plants in our area and gain hands-on and ‘eyes’
We will also discuss how we can be good caretakers and stewards of the land and share many important wildcrafting ethics and considerations in the process. It is important that we learn about the plants that are at risk and should not be used unless in dire need.
If you have an interest in learning to forage for edible & medicinal plants, then this workshop is for you. This is free events spot are limited please RSVP as soon as possible Kiran
