Fighting climate breakdown is about much more than emissions and scientific metrics – it’s about fighting for a just and sustainable world that works for all of us, including all other-than-human beings. If we are going to fight for this, we need everyone. We are calling on all UoG students to join the millions of people all over the world who will be walking out of their homes, workplaces and classrooms on September 20th to join a strike in their community to demand climate justice and emergency action to tackle the climate crisis.
When: Friday, September 20th, 2019
Where: We are meeting by the cannon in front of the University Center.
Meeting time: 11am
What: We will be walking/bussing together to the #climatestrike rally downtown Guelph in Market Square by City Hall that starts at 12pm.
